The State Department late Tuesday approved the sale of more than $200 million in new U.S. military equipment to Ukraine, a signal that the Trump administration is doubling down on its latest wave of military backing for Kyiv ahead of President Trump's Friday deadline for a ceasefire.
Ukraine has thanked the US for approving defense procurements worth over $203 million (nearly €176 million). This allows the country to purchase equipment, repairs, and maintenance for artillery, among other things, the US Department of Defense concluded. The money comes not from the US itself, but from other countries.
The United States has given its agreement for military aid to Ukraine worth more than $200 million. This major support aims to strengthen Ukrainian artillery, transport and logistics in Ukraine.
