- The Air Force issued a Request For Information seeking industry proposals to produce the Extended Range Attack Munition for Ukraine, with responses due by Nov. 19.
- Designed to "provide affordable mass to the fight," ERAM is part of the Pentagon's strategy for cheaper weapons, following the Trump administration's $825 million sale of 3,350 units to Ukraine.
- Specifications require a 500-pound class weapon capable of speeds exceeding Mach 0.6 and ranges greater than 250 nautical miles, with terminal accuracy within 10 meters even amid degraded GPS.
- Companies must begin delivering the first of more than 1,000 ERAMs within three months of contract award, with the Air Force requiring all deliveries completed within 15 months.
- In June 2026, Ukrainian media reported Ukraine used the AGM-188A Rusty Dagger version against the Voronezh Semiconductor Plant; development included a live warhead test at Eglin Air Force Base in Florida.
