Uppsala Not Far From Becoming Herd Immune to HPV: "Very Exciting"

For Sweden to become the first in the world to eradicate cervical cancer, 70 percent of all women with cervical cancer born between 1994 and 1999 must be vaccinated against HPV. In Uppsala, they are just over five percentage points away from reaching the target locally. – It's great that we are so close to reaching the target, says chief physician Birgitta Segeblad.
