Update on McCook residents’ lawsuit to stop the ICE detainment camp

Last fall, more than 18,300 Nebraskans from 386 towns and cities signed a petition to stop Governor Pillen from opening a large-scale federal detainment camp in our state, saying “This is NOT who we are” – and we filed a lawsuit on behalf of McCook residents to prevent this harmful expansion of ICE mass detention.
