Update: Extreme cold warning affecting part of Pennsylvania Saturday and Sunday – dangerous wind chills expected

On Thursday at 12:04 p.m. an updated extreme cold warning was issued by the National Weather Service valid from Saturday 1 a.m. until Sunday 10 a.m. for Westmoreland Ridges, Fayette Ridges and Higher Elevations of Indiana as well as Mercer, Venango, Forest, Butler, Clarion, Jefferson, Armstrong and Indiana counties.The weather service comments, “Dangerously cold wind chills as low as 25 degrees below zero expected.”
