A violent incident was triggered by Jandarmerie on Saturday, in Bucharest, before the Bucharest Pride march, in the 20th edition.
Police have detained two underage boys who threw eggs at participants in the LGBTQ+ community march in Vilnius. This was confirmed to Elta by Tomas Bražėnas, a representative of the Vilnius Chief Police Commissariat (VPK). “Two underage boys were detained during the march, who had started throwing eggs at the march participants. Both men were identified and detained. They will be handed over to their parents,” the police spokesman said.
The Jandarmi observed, Saturday afternoon, near the Bucharest Pride's place of execution, people "with intent to express their indifference towards the event" being monitored by the order forces. Five persons were brought to the police for clarifications after they were found with an egg bag, with suspicion that they wanted to throw them to the participants.
