- Developed by NTPC Limited, the facility integrates Battery Energy Storage System technology to ensure energy reliability; officials state the project will substantially reduce expenditure on conventional electricity for defence establishments over its lifecycle.
- This first-of-its-kind initiative requires close coordination between the Integrated HQ of MoD and the Directorate General Defence Estates to ensure timely execution and optimal energy pricing through competitive bidding.
