Unusual flooding and hail: Exits from Eilat blocked

Stormy weather was recorded in the south of the country with heavy rains accompanied by thunderstorms in the Negev communities. Following the rains and flooding, major roads were blocked in the cities of Dimona and Eilat and in other communities in the Negev | Documentation and Updates

Due to flooding - Highway 90 was closed to traffic in various sections from the Mencha Junction to Eilat • Highway 40 was closed to traffic from Mitzpe Ramon to the Ketura Junction due to fears of flooding • Police asked the public not to cross streams and to avoid areas where there is flooding
