United Way kicks off 2026 campaign with 'plane pull'

BRIDGEPORT, W.Va. (WBOY) — The United Way officially started its 2026 campaign on Tuesday with the motto of “United Lights the Way,” and in that spirit, the organization kicked off the campaign with a plane pull. Teams from throughout the community were tasked with raising $2,000 and then seeing how quickly they could pull a plane down the runway of the North Central West Virginia Airport.
