Today, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh, Nitin Gadkari, and Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath will inaugurate the 63-km-long Kanpur-Lucknow Expressway (NE 6), built at a cost of ₹4,200 crore. Its opening will reduce the travel time between the two cities from three hours to just 40 minutes. The maximum speed limit on this route has been set at 120 km/h.
