- The agreements apply to two separate contracts covering the Oshawa Assembly Plant, St. Catharines Propulsion Plant, Woodstock Parts Distribution Centre, and the idled CAMI Assembly Plant in Ingersoll, Ontario.
- GM Canada president and managing director Jack Uppal stated the agreement builds on existing investments in Canadian manufacturing, with member ratification meetings scheduled for August 29 and 30.
