UNICEF: In Bolivia, children are the most vulnerable to change

In Bolivia, thousands of children and adolescents live in areas that are highly exposed to the effects of climate change. More than 2.1 million live in places at high risk of suffering floods and more than 600,000 live at high risk of suffering from drought, according to General Comment No. 26 to the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child. This document was submitted by the United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF) on September 19.
