SPRINGFIELD — The unemployment rate decreased in all 12 metro areas for the year ending June 2025, according to data released today by the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) and the Illinois Department of Employment Security (DES).
The unemployment rate in Tlaxcala was 1.6 percent of the economically active population (EAP) in June 2025, a figure that represented a decrease of one percentage point from the previous month, based on the National Survey of Occupation and Employment (ENOE) published on Monday by the National Institute of Statistics and Geography (Inegi).
