The number of jobseekers increased by 1.6% in the third quarter of 2025, taking into account the automatic registration of RSA recipients and young people on integration and employment routes.
By not taking into account the automatic registration in France Work of RSA contractors and young people on the path of integration, the number of category A unemployed would have increased by 0.7% over the quarter. Without the changes in the rules of sanctions, it would have even declined.
This figure takes into account the automatic registration of RSA recipients and young people in integration courses, reports on Tuesday the Department of Studies of the Ministry of Labour (Dares).
In the third quarter, the number of jobseekers registered in France Labour without any activity (category A) increased by 1.6% compared to the previous quarter, in particular as a result of automatic registration of RSA beneficiaries.
