uLab®, Ortho-Automation, and Voxel Dental Collaborate to Provide Dental Professionals with Innovative In-Office Aligner Solutions and Greater Workflow Efficiency

On March 26, 2025, uLab Systems, Ortho-Automation, and Voxel Dental announced a strategic collaboration in Memphis, Tennessee, to empower dental practitioners with efficient in-office aligner production capabilities.
This collaboration builds upon the partnership between uLab and Ortho-Automation since 2021 and the launch of uDesign software in 2019, aiming to meet customer demand for simple workflows and high-quality in-office manufacturing solutions.
The partnership expands the direct integrations of the uDesign platform to include Ortho-Automation's Trimlign2 system, offering an integrated workflow and greater practice efficiencies.
According to Mark Bacino, Vice President of Orthodontic Solutions at Voxel Dental, uLab and Ortho-Automation continue to lead the way in optimizing in-house aligner digital workflows, and partnering with them and offering the Trimlign2 system enables customers to create an integrated workflow and achieve efficiencies.
This collaboration intends to transform in-office aligner manufacturing, streamlining in-house production while uLab continues its sustainable manufacturing practices of uSmile aligners in Memphis, recycling over 80% of mold materials.
