- Wenzhou officials relocated more than 900,000 residents, while authorities in Fujian and Shanghai evacuated more than 150,000 and 200,000 people respectively. More than 1,500 emergency shelters opened in Wenzhou to accommodate displaced residents.
- Shanghai's two main passenger airports saw 943 flight cancellations, while public transit and businesses suspended operations across the financial hub. Ningbo international airport resumed operations midday, though officials warned some journeys may still be delayed since effects have "not yet completely dissipated."
- Northern China also faces extreme weather, with five districts in Beijing issuing red alerts for heavy rain on Monday. The storm intensified monsoon rains in the Philippines, where floods and landslides have killed more than a dozen people.
- Although downgraded to a tropical storm, China's National Meteorological Centre warns of ongoing flooding and landslide risks in central China. This event follows Typhoon Noul two weeks ago and Typhoon Maysak last month, which killed 39 people in Guangxi.
