Almost two-thirds of young Czechs would maintain their lifestyle for a maximum of three months if they lost their job. 30 percent would only last a month, and this reserve is mainly available to people with basic education. This is according to a survey by the Ipsos agency for the investment company XTB, which was conducted in October among a thousand people aged 18 to 30.
According to the survey, financial resilience strongly depends on education. While 42 percent of people with primary education have a reserve for only one month, this is 14 percent for university graduates. On the other hand, a total of 19 percent of respondents have a long-term reserve exceeding five months, while for university graduates it is 35.5 percent.
