Two local skiers finish among the best at prestigious Birkebeiner

Rochester Lourdes graduate Anna Peikert has won some prestigious cross-country ski races in recent years. She added another excellent finish to her skiing resume on Feb. 21, when she finished as the runner-up in the women's division of the Kortelopet Skate (29k race) at the annual American Birkebeiner in Hayward, Wis.
