Two men wanted for drug trafficking in the United States were arrested in Valverde province during an operation carried out by special units of the National Drug Control Directorate (DNCD), the Public Ministry and U.S. Marshals. They are Ricardo Cruz Ortiz and Jensy Cruz Ortiz, who were detained in Cruce de Guayacanes, in the Mao municipality of the aforementioned province, on orders issued by the Supreme Court of Justice (SCJ).
