A person who passed through the accident area gave the warning by having seen a vehicle overturned in a wooded area
The bodies of Edgar, a native of Cerredo, although residing in Ponferrada, and José Luis, of the nearby Cabolalles (León) were trapped in the vehicle, located in a wooded area by a person passing by towards one this morning
The event took place at 1.15 p.m. this morning on Sunday, September 6. More information: A 86-year-old man is found missing in an area about four kilometres from a village in León.
The deceased, natives of Villablino and Ponferrada, were traveling in a vehicle that flew on the AS-15 road, in the Asturian council of Degaña. Their rescue, in coordination between Asturian and Lion troops, lasted several hours.
The firefighters opened an access to the vehicle to facilitate the entrance of the health personnel, who confirmed the death of the two occupants. Subsequently, they proceeded to release both bodies of the vehicle for which they removed the seats, the door and the central pillar on the side of the escort.
The accident was recorded at km 103 of the road AS-15, between the towns of Cerredo and La Collada.
