BBC Confirms Casualty and Heartbeat Star Will Join EastEnders as New Character
Jason Durr will guest-star as local councillor Clive Masters, who supports residents trying to save the Community Centre and befriends Linda Carter.
Former Casualty and Heartbeat actor Jason Durr joins the EastEnders cast this Summer as local councillor Clive Masters, the BBC confirmed.
With the Community Centre at risk of redevelopment, residents of Albert Square rally to save the beloved building, with Linda Carter leading the mission to protect it.
Clive shows support for the campaign, sparking a friendship with Linda; "Working with the wonderful Kellie Bright has been an absolute joy," Durr said of the collaboration.
Linda soon realizes there might be more to their budding friendship than meets the eye, taking interest in the councillor despite her turbulent recent history.
The role serves as a short guest stint for Durr, following the recent return of serial killer Gray Atkins to the show for a limited period.
