ISTANBUL - Turkey's deal to buy 20 Eurofighter Typhoon fighter jets from Britain for 8 billion pounds ($10.7 billion) also includes a comprehensive weapons package, including MBDA Meteor air-to-air missiles and Brimstone ground attack missiles, a person familiar with the matter told Reuters on Wednesday. Ministry of National Defense (MSB) sources said, "The project cost for the 20 new production Eurofighter Typhoon aircraft, the aircraft's mission equipment, and various types and quantities of ammunition included in the procurement content is approximately 5.4 billion British pounds. Work on the Eurofighter Typhoon aircraft to be procured from Qatar and Oman is continuing."
