Turin's via Roma Has Been Pedestrianized, with the via Santa Teresa-via Maria Vittoria Axis Reopened to Traffic.

TURIN – Via Santa Teresa, from Via XX Settembre to Via Roma, and Via Maria Vittoria, from Via Roma to Via Lagrange, were reopened to vehicular traffic this morning, after pedestrian restrictions were removed on July 25th. Work on the new diorite pavement has been completed in the section bordered to the east and west by the porticoes of Piazza San Carlo, with Carrara marble pedestrian crossings replacing the traditional painted signage.
