A truck driver from New Orleans was struck and killed Wednesday while standing outside his parked tractor trailer on the New Jersey Turnpike in Middlesex County, authorities said.Shawn Mornay, 60, was standing on the right shoulder next to his flatbed trailer, when he was hit by a truck about 2:40 p.m., according to New Jersey State Police.
