The contract with American companies Westinghouse and Bechtel to design a nuclear power plant has expired. What's next for the project?

The agreement with Westinghouse and Bechtel to design a Polish nuclear power plant, which was signed in the autumn of 2023 by the PiS government, formally expired at the end of March. As reported by "Rzeczpospolita", negotiations are underway to sign a new document. At the moment, however, we do not have any contract with the Americans. The government assures us that there will be no delays because of this.
