State trooper facing minor injuries after their car was hit on side of I-91 in Meriden

MERIDEN, Conn. (WTNH) — A state trooper has minor injuries after a crash on Friday night on I-91 north in Meriden, according to state police. The trooper was stopped in the right shoulder assistant and disabled car when a vehicle traveling in the right lane entered the shoulder and struck the trooper's car, police said. Both the trooper and the operator were transported to the hospital for minor injuries.
