The process of a French surgeon who has abused sex for hundreds of years of days of patients, the majority of minors, has entered the final phase today after the prosecutor's lawyers presented the final pleas. The verdict is expected to be Wednesday, France24.

After leaving his two lawyers to defend him, Joel Le Scouarnec addressed the court, before the court withdrew to deliberate.

On Monday, 26 May, the lawyers of Joël Le Scouarnec had the floor to defend him one last time in the Morbihan Criminal Court. In their pleadings, they insisted on the reparation and truth of the former surgeon, accused of rape and sexual assault on 299 mostly minor patients.
