- The complaint names Whelan Event Services and Government Employees Health Association alongside KCPD, alleging failure to intervene and assault, while GardaWorld says Whelan hasn't served Arrowhead since 2019; Tremaine A. Neverson seeks unspecified damages for serious injuries and reputational harm.
- He was initially charged with trespassing, resisting arrest and assaulting a police officer, was jailed overnight, but prosecutors later dismissed charges citing insufficient evidence.
- Neverson also faces separate Manhattan charges last month for damaging over $1,500 in property and an alleged punching incident, and his attorney Mitchell Schuster says he pled not guilty and is cooperating.
