Tree on power lines leaves 1,000 Sooke customers without power

More than 1,000 BC Hydro customers are currently without electricity on Tuesday afternoon after a tree fell across power lines in Sooke. According to BC Hydro’s outage map, the outage affected 1,003 customers in the area west of Winfield Drive, south of Tugwell Road and east of West Coast Road.
