The 30th Maitland Trail Association Candlelight walk on Feb. 6 had a relatively good turnout of 200 people. It operated during a blizzard, with winds projected to reach 80 kilometres per hour, so it was too windy for lighting lanterns, outdoor hospitality or for a walk in the woods — but not too windy for a great event! The late addition of the snow field labyrinth by Howes Landscaping saved the event.
