The long-awaited Verapaz Bridge officially opened to traffic this morning. This marks a significant change in traffic flow in northern Ghent: through traffic on the R40 now runs via Afrikalaan and Koopvaardijlaan, and no longer via Dok-Noord and Dok-Zuid.
