Tractor-trailer nearly hit Maine veterinary clinic
A tractor-trailer nearly hit a veterinary clinic in Lyman on Thursday morning. John Turner of Readfield was driving the tractor-trailer on Route 111, also known as Alfred Road, when he lost control, veered off the road and into the parking lot of Southern Maine Veterinary Clinic, according to the York County Sheriff’s Office. One side of Route 111 in Lyman was closed for four hours Thursday morning when a tractor-trailer veered off the road, struck a utility pole and wound up in the parking lot of Southern Maine Veterinary Care.
