In a special meeting last Thursday, the Crothersville Town Council unanimously agreed to pursue purchasing the former Crothersville Methodist Church properties at the stoplight corner of Armstrong & Howard Street. The church, which closed in February of this year due to declining attendance, was built in 1868, just 10 years after the founding of the community.
