Town buys land to extend Bruce St. in Port Elgin

The Town has purchased land from a developer to extend Bruce St., from Sunset Blvd. to Bruce Rd. 25 at the south end of Port Elgin. The new road will provide access to vacant land on the east side of Port Elgin for development – including an eight-acre parcel owned by the Town – and create another north-south route through Port Elgin, easing congestion on Highway 21.
