During the 6th stage between Rubavu and Musanze on Friday 27 February, Itamar Einhorn won a second victory in this edition. NSN Development's sprinter was the fastest in a massive sprint, ahead of British team-mate Finlay Tarling and Spaniard Hodei Munoz (Sudal Quick-Step Devo). German Moritz Kretschy (NSN Development) retained his leader jersey.
Rwandan Muhoza Eric, who performed well in the 6th stage of the Tour du Rwanda 2026, was awarded a motorbike donated by Spiro Rwanda, one of the sponsors of this year's race.
