- Race organizer ASO said the outbreak of nodular dermatitis in cattle near Col des Saisies led to route modification, removing two climbs from Stage 19.
- During the final climb, Arensman attacked, 'I feel absolutely destroyed,' said the Dutch rider, on the La Plagne hors catégorie ascent. The route included Col du Pré and the mountaintop finish at La Plagne.
- Pogačar said, `We did a very good job until the last climb,` while Vingegaard won the sprint for second, and Lipowitz maintained his hold on third overall.
