Tom Cruise paid tribute to late "Top Gun" co-star Val Kilmer on Thursday, leading movie theatre owners in a moment of silence at a CinemaCon event.

The actor was present on the stage of the CinemaCon in Las Vegas to present the trailer of the new "Mission Impossible", "The Final Reckoning", scheduled for the end of May.

Maverick's interpretation made a surprise appearance at the CinemaCon in Las Vegas to pay tribute to his friend, who disappeared at the age of 65 on Tuesday, April 1.
