- Following Jon Jones' retirement last month, Aspinall was elevated from interim to undisputed champion.
- Tom Aspinall scored a first-round knockout of Sergei Pavlovich at UFC 295 in November 2023 and followed with a 60-second finish of Curtis Blaydes at UFC 304 in July 2024.
- With Jones out of the picture, the heavyweight division can finally move on and Aspinall says he is ready to lead it forward.
- In future matchups, Aspinall plans to fight twice this year and said he is interested in facing Francis Ngannou next.
