Togo: an audience against the poet "Affectio", prosecuted for his writings

In Togo, the activist "Astectio" returned to prison on Wednesday 19 February after his hearing before the investigating judge of the Court of Appeal. Arrested on 12 January 2025, he was imprisoned at the Lomé Civil Prison, 48 hours later, for having published on social networks a poem entitled "Do your part". He is prosecuted for violating the internal security of the State, he has to wait another eight days to know his fate.
