Tamil Nadu CM M K Stalin Undergoes Health Evaluation After Giddiness
CHENNAI, TAMIL NADU, INDIA, JUL 21 – Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M K Stalin is under observation with diagnostic tests after mild giddiness and has been advised rest while continuing official duties, hospital said.
Tamil Nadu’s CM M K Stalin was hospitalized at Apollo in Chennai on Monday after feeling slight dizziness during his usual morning walk.
Stalin was admitted to the hospital amid concerns about his health, which his son attributed to several months of an intense workload, resulting in the indefinite postponement of his scheduled events on July 22 and 23 in Tiruppur and Coimbatore districts.
Doctors at Apollo Hospital are conducting diagnostic tests and have advised Stalin to rest for two to three days while he is expected to continue official duties from the hospital during his recovery.
During a roadshow, AIADMK leader Edappadi K Palaniswami extended his wishes for Stalin's swift recovery, while State Minister Duraimurugan assured reporters that the Chief Minister's condition remains stable.
The postponed events involving Stalin will have new dates announced in due course, while further information regarding his medical condition is expected from Apollo Hospitals and officials of the Tamil Nadu government.
