BATON ROUGE, La. (Louisiana First) - The National Weather Service office New Orleans/Baton Rouge confirmed three tornadoes touched down Monday morning in Tangipahoa Parish. The first one touched down at 3:59 AM near Hammond and lifted at 4:14 AM near Independence. This tornado produced EF1 damage, with wind speeds around 90 mph.
