SAN JUAN – Air and maritime units of the U.S. Coast Guard rescued on Monday three people who were aboard a boat that sank north of the entrance to the port of San Juan, Puerto Rico. “Our coordinated efforts ensured that the individuals were recovered from the water quickly and safely, and that both they and their boat would return safely,” said Officer Carmelo Serrano, the coroner of the case by the Coast Guard in written statements.
