The Kruikenzeiker is the symbol of public carnival. This bronze statue stands at the transition from the Heuvelstraat to the Nieuwlandstraat. You may not have known: the statue has a similarity with the Efteling. That similarity has very little to do with Carnaval Festival. Yet there is a clear similarity between our symbol for carnival and the amusement park. The statue was made by an artist who also provided many statues of the Efteling. Cool!…
