The government is succeeding in its goal of stabilizing the debt ratio and creating the conditions for economic growth, writes Prime Minister Petteri Orpo.

The tax revenue estimate has weakened by almost half a billion euros. The proposal of Petteri Orpo's (Kok) government for the second supplementary budget for 2025 will further increase central government borrowing. In the supplementary budget, the need for appropriations increases by 757 million euros, and the net reduction in actual revenue is 187 million euros.
