Police officers from Lower Silesia thwarted a confrontation between hooligans from Lubin and hooligans of other clubs travelling to the match. "Over 200 hooligans planned to attack the fanatics of the Legnica club travelling by train, in almost three times smaller numbers," the officers reported. Among other things, batons and gas throwers were found on the people detained for inspection.
