According to other merchants close to the scene, this is not the first time a violent incident has occurred at El Cruze Bar and Grill.

Two people were killed and two others were shot dead in the El Cruce bar and Grill business last night, located on the PR-159 highway in the Manilla neighborhood of Corozal. A 911 emergency system call alerted the authorities to shots fired at the site. Upon arriving at the scene, officers found the body shot at a man.
