University investigates State Secretary Maeijer's thesis for possible plagiarism

The examination committee of the Erasmus School of Law, part of the Erasmus University in Rotterdam, will investigate the master's thesis of State Secretary Vicky Maeijer (PVV), following reports by BNR about suspected plagiarism. "If a specific suspicion of plagiarism is established during the investigation, those involved will be heard before a decision is made," a spokeswoman said.

De examencommissie van de Erasmus School of Law, onderdeel van de Erasmus Universiteit in Rotterdam, gaat onderzoek doen naar de masterscriptie van staatssecretaris Vicky Maeijer (PVV), naar aanleiding van berichtgeving van BNR over vermoedelijk plagiaat. „Als gedurende het onderzoek een concreet vermoeden van plagiaat wordt vastgesteld, dan worden betrokkenen gehoord voordat een besluit wordt genomen”, laat een woordvoerster weten.
