The Waterloo Region Community Foundation has handed out $1.7 million in grant funding to 84 smaller groups to support the work they do to bring neighbours together. CBC K-W spoke to three groups about what the funding will mean for them.

Area libraries receive grant funding

WASHINGTON COUNTY — Two area libraries were recently awarded grant funding through the Illinois Secretary of State’s Office. According to a press release from the Secretary of State’s Office, 639 public libraries statewide received nearly $18 million in per-capita grants.
