Member of the Advisory Committee for Senior Appointments Prof. Talia Einhorn, mother of Israel Einhorn, suspected and accused of crimes, agreed not to be a participant in discussions to appoint the next head of the Shin Bet.
The professor announced that he would not discuss the appointment in response to the demand of the “Our Way” movement, and in an attempt to “avoid the delay of the urgent work of the commission due to idle claims.” Kahlon, another member of the committee, will also not be able to participate in the hearings, which leaves the committee appointed only two members - which would not allow it to make a decision
