Army Asks Commercial Suppliers for Quick Solutions to Get Batches of Small Drones to Soldiers

UNITED STATES, JUL 8 – The Army aims to procure thousands of drones under $2,000 each to enhance soldier capabilities based on combat lessons from the Russia-Ukraine conflict, officials said.

The Army is aiming to fast-track production of thousands of small, cheap drones that soldiers can use in the field within about two months, the service said.
